Joia Passport: Rhythms Around the World

Teaching Artist: Joia World Percussion

This fifty-minute interactive concert will take students on a journey around the world through rhythm! Students stamp their passports, get on an airplane, and away they go to Brazil, Africa, Cuba, The Caribbean, and Japan. There they will learn the fundamental rhythms of each country (by mnemonics and hand-clapping) as they join Joia in the life-celebrating rhythms.  Souvenir egg shakers are also available for them to keep as a reminder of their adventure!  Additional cost required.
