Geometricks: Learning Geometry with Magic

Teaching Artist: Abra-Kid-Abra

Students will deepen their knowledge of geometry in a fun way as magic meets math. Perform magic with 5 different types of triangles! Demonstrate amazing properties of circles when they are stretched to their limits! Speed calculate the area of a rectangle! Each night students take home new tricks to show friends and family. With each performance, they hone their geometric knowledge and build confidence in their math and presentation skills.
