On May 22nd students participating in Springboard to Learning’s “MusicMaker” residency were honored on the stage of the famous Sheldon Concert Hall. Schools represented were Most Holy Trinity Catholic School and Academy and the following St. Louis public schools: Dewey International School, Farragut Elementary School, Herzog Elementary School, Kennard Classical Junior Academy, Mullanphy Investigative Learning Center, Northwest Academy, Pamoja Preparatory Academy at Cole, Shaw Visual and Performing Arts Elementary. These students collaborated in groups to write the lyrics and melodies to original songs about everything from ecosystems to classmates who were victims of gun violence.  These songs were recorded by professional musicians and can be listened to at this attached link:  MusicMaker at the Sheldon songs
