Twice Upon A Time

Teaching Artist: Ric Vice

Students join this storyteller and jazz musician for a blend of trickster, pourquoi, and heroic tales. Students become more engaged and analytical listeners as they are actively engaged in stories rich in humor, wise lessons, and memorable patterns. As they retell the folktales in their small groups, students begin to make them their own. As the program builds, students are challenged to create new stories, based on the original tales, and record them on their iPad. Also available for virtual residencies.
