Messages in the Media

Teaching Artist: Ed Reggi

Ed Reggi leads a variety of theater games, hands-on projects and video presentations where students analyze the effects of media messages on their community’s attitudes and sharpen their own media literacy skills. Each student creates a mini-commercial in the form of a flipbook and a mock product/service campaign from start to finish. Students complete the residency by creating a media museum at their school and receive a DVD documenting exercises, games and activities used throughout the program. Also available for virtual workshops and residencies.
