Under the direction of dance education professional Alicia Gbaho, students will learn that dance is an art that is vital to the development of the total individual. It contributes to physical fitness, enhancing abilities such as agility, strength, endurance, and flexibility. The Lifestyle Changes! Program is introduced through three main dance modes: traditional, theatrical, and social. Students become more familiar with the fundamental components necessary for maintaining and living a healthy lifestyle by learning how the body functions. The program will aid students in gaining knowledge of healthy principles, as well as learning about the body’s natural tendency to be an active vessel.
