This cross-disciplinary program builds students’ self-esteem, increases their concentration and problem-solving abilities, and fosters their belief in both the importance of their work as an individual and their role in the community.  In this way, it correlates very well with the Show-Me Standards Performance Goals. This Springboard Ethnic Percussion program also addresses Show-Me Knowledge Standards, primarily in Fine Arts, Communication Arts, and Social Studies.
