Kim Madden has been with Springboard since 2001 as a storyteller/teaching artist. She is the creator and presented of one of the most popular programs offered by Springboard to Learning. “Discovering the World Around Us” is an early childhood storytelling program incorporating movement, rhyme, and hands-on opportunities for the students with an emphasis on discovering nature’s secrets. She has worked with nationally known storytellers like Annette Harrison and Bobby Norfolk throughout her career. In 2016, she completed a Master Naturalist Program through St. Louis Community College, and began presenting an additional Springboard program titled: “TREEmendous” – sharing knowledge and appreciation of the trees around us through movement, rhyme, and hands-on opportunities.
