DeAnna Massie

DeAnna Massie has both an MFA and ED.D. degrees and is a teaching artist, actor, and researcher specializing in improvisation and performance. DeAnna is an eighteen-year veteran of improv who has toured the United States as a performer and is one of only 52 Certified Applied Improv practioners in the world. She has trained at Second City and with Aretha Sills, granddaughter of Viola Spolin, the creator of improv and theatre games. DeAnna is the President of the Midwest Regional Association for Developmental Education and was a 2016 nominee for the ICCTA Teacher of the Year Award.
